Probably going to sound more insensitive than intended but -

Replacing stock parts for custom ones is hardly a new concept around here... Happy modding...

Hey now. I have my titty skittles to help modify the chassis and case, and everything else is just work. :)
Ouch. I'd rather not. Given that my dremel is a hand me down from a friend and needs some cleaning and a less bent cutting bit.

Daughter (3yrs old): "Can I watch a film?"

Mummy: "Yes, but I think you should let Daddy choose which one for once."

Me (Daddy): "Excellent. I get to choose! Let's watch Rocky."

    Daughter: "What's Rocky?"

    Me: "It's a film about a boxer..."

Mummy (interrupting): "No, I don't think Rocky is appropriate."

Mummy (having mulled it over): "How about Star Wars?"

    Daughter: "Yay, Star Wars!"

Daughter: "Can I watch the one where Darth Vader
    cuts
    Luke
    's hand off
    ?"

Spoiler tags kinda ruin the flow a bit, but I didn't like to risk doing that to some-one.

My step sister gave birth to a healthy baby girl yesterday. Mum and baby are doing great. I'm now an uncle for the 6th time. Maybe I should think about getting some of my own at some point!

I had one of those last year. It wasn't quite 20%, but it's quite a nice surprise either way: "Here, have some more money for doing the same job."

    EDIT:

    Congrats :)

Don't be daft, you've had far more pressing matters to deal with. Everything still on the up and up with that I hope?

I must be the only person who's found parenthood much easier than I had expected.

I don't have the time to just do whatever I want in the evenings anymore, but otherwise kids are pretty fun, easy, and rewarding. The haven't slept in three days thing sorta happens I guess . . . every once in a while . . . when they're 0-6 months old, but after that it gets back to normal.

What makes my life awesome? I'm going to see all my family (parents, siblings w/ spouses and kids) that I haven't seen in over a year in Disney World for a whole week. It'll be the first vacation my wife and I have taken since getting married.
