My lady used to. The thing is we can get 30ml bottles for £3.99 so we concluded it wasn't worth the aggro.

Be warned though, it's a deep rabbit hole once you get into it! Also, patience is a virtue.

 

Try a higher vg content.
There's a good chance it's not wicking correctly at 12w and burning the filler (so it wicks even less) so the coils die quicker.

Are the coils popping or just losing production?

Yup, exclusively vape my own juices.

A higher VG ratio will reduce wicking due to the thick viscosity, unless you water it down with, er, water.

 

I've been finding that I need much higher VG ratios with anything above 12w
If I go PG heavy then I end up burning cotton

Never had any issues when I used to vape straight PG, but coming at it from the other end where I now use 100% VG (less a percent or 2 for flavour) @ 22 watts it can be a right sod to find a set up to get it to wick

 

Straight flavours, no messing about mixing this with that except for my cinnamon mix which is 50/50 cinnamon coffee & cinnamon cake

 

I'm really enjoying this at the moment, it is a really complex flavour that keeps on giving me new things. He nailed it with that recipe imho, but I could see how someone mightn't like it.

Other than that, I have about half a dozen recipes with varying styles I rotate (to allow others to steep). I've perfected (for my own palate):

• Complex strawberry cream (like Unicorn Milk)
• Apple, blueberry & cinnamon muffin
• Citrus punch
• Banana cookie
• Tobacco & Butterscotch (rich and staaaanky, RY4 based!)
• Werther's Original
• Minty boiled sweet

Over time I've built up about 100 concentrates, but custards, strawberries and bakery flavours seem to go down quicker than some others!

 

I made a custom flavour through 8bit that was a pure experiment of Maraschino Cherry, Passionfruit and Menthol.
Smells like Marzipan, tastes like Parma Violets!

Not my favourite, but it's close!

 

can't wait now, had my VG/PG and nicotine this morning, just waiting on the flavours to be delivered now

 

Prepare for some early disappointments if you plan to experiment, otherwise stick to tried and tested recipes

 

50/50 MBV Coumarin Pipe and Vanilla Custard. Smooth caramel and vanilla combination with a touch of fragrant pipe tobacco which is my all day vape. I need to switch to something else soon though as I'm beginning to lose the taste - touch of vaper's tongue. Fortunately I have 50ml of Heisenberg good to go as well as around 30ml of well steeped Thug Juice

Which flavours did you buy? I've been steeping 200ml of TPA's RY4 Double for almost 3 weeks and its still not ready (or completely buggered, not sure which yet.) When its good, its amazing!

I'm waiting for 250ml of 72mg Nic, 500ml of PG, and Capella Blueberry and Cinnamon Danish Swirl.

Wanted to get a load of basic flavours at first, going to order some cake/savoury flavours next.

What did you mix your RY4 at?

 

FYI, FW natural strawberry is very natural tasting but not particularly strong. I'd recommend grabbing some Capella sweet strawberry and some TFA strawberry ripe to play with, all three are very different.

 

I don't know if you've seen this thread yet. I mixed mine at 8% this time, but I think I should have gone for 15%. After 3 weeks I should be tasting much more than I am!
