Yep, so this is one of those things I definitely should have done at least a couple years ago.

    > Plug in FLIRC, install SW
    > Set profile in FLIRC to Kodi
    > Define device as FLIRC/Kodi in Harmony
    > ...
    > Profit
    > (optional) wish you could claim back the solid half a day you spent trying to haphazardly bodge the previous IR software

Take some sick bags, even if you don't get motion sick. I never get motion sick, except watching Gravity on iMax.

    Round and around and around....

yep played it then ordered after.
I really enjoyed it playing with friends. I agree with what a lot of other people say about the bullet springiness of it tho, but you have to understand that everyone is low level in the beta and have low end gear, this is a mmo after all and should be approached as one, not a FPS.

BF4 non hardcore mode isnt to far off the sponginess anyway, been a few times iv had to nail a hole clip into someone before the droped.

Pre Ordered my Samsung S7 Edge in black *but might change to gold* + free Samsung VR, due for my upgrade in march and i get 40% of my contract price if i go android so decided to grab this for my new phone. I was going to get a Edge + as i like a larger phone but the SD card expansion will come in handy as i've got a 128 sd card i can reuse from my current phone, And the VR thing intrigues me lol

Also may have gone overboard when i purchased some Twizzlers i didn't know B&M sold them and the place i normally get them from are £4 a pack B&M a larger size was £1.5 so i might have gotten a few box's worth.

Being Frugal finally paid its dividends. I got Sky to give us Multiscreen (on the mrs' request) for £2.50 a month for life. Unfortunately that included a basic box with no pause or recording functionality. So we bought a Sky+HD box in town from one of the local second hand places. £25. No way am I paying Sky £299 for one.

(not my pic, just copied from google images)
Joby charcoal wrist strap for my Fuji X-E1.
The Wiimote strap I've been using up till now (yes, I'm cheap :p) was getting worn out, so I got this. Looks very nice and durable, and how it tightens itself with a small tug without being uncomfortable is a very clever, dead simple mechanism.

Lionsteel TRE. Got the model with the grey pocket clip and back spacer although I really wanted the blue. They seem to be sod out everywhere so I'm going to try and order those parts directly from Lionsteel.

Is that thing even legal? I like it though !

Best knife I ever had was a Smith & Wesson Black Ops. I did get it back into the UK from the USA (before 9/11) and I gave it to my uncle as a present, as he collects replica firearms and so on.

Yup, perfectly legal although as it locks I would need a valid reason to carry it outside of the house.

The locking part of the UK legality laws is a bit of an odd one as it doesn't come from the statute laws that govern what we can and can't carry without needing a reason. The locking part comes from a case law where it was decided that when the blade is open and locked, the knife is no different from a fixed blade, not true, it's nowhere near as strong but hey, typical laws put in place by people who don't know how things work as well as those who use the item...
