They'll only charge the handling fee if they have paid the VAT/import duty for you, the listings on eBay and Amazon where import fees are included are guaranteed not to incur additional fees, and you sometimes get part of the charges refunded afterwards if the fees turn out to be less.

You can safely buy that one you linked to without worrying about extra costs.

I put my slightly broken K60 up for sale in the forum, but was reccomended to ask if there was anyone in London willing to take a look at it and see if its fixable.

The G, H and Alt key seem to only work about one in 10 boots, and I think thats due to beer getting in there after a party one day.

Anyone in town willing to take a look at it for a note or couple of pints? If its totally beyond repair I'm happy to dontate its parts to a willing new home as well.

I would if I was closer - it's probably a relatively easy fix - hopefully someone nearer will be in a position to help out :thumb:

If you get stuck and willing to cover the postage I'm willing to strip it down and take a look.

Rather comprehensive set of mech board reviews in Custom PC this month, including all the boards I have been thinking about purchasing and one I haven't which now looks very promising (CM Masterkeys Pro S).

Guys, I have just discovered Massdrop! :D

What do you think about that Varmilo VA87MR keyboard?
Its up there, I was looking for a white TKL and this one can be picked with MX blue switches, wat I was after.

Does anyone have that Varmilo keyboard? Is it good, worth buying?

It's equivalent to a Filco in terms of build quality and finish, but it's made in China as opposed to Japan and it has much better keycaps. Nice keyboard.

And with massdrop you will have to add; postage to the UK, VAT*, any import duty due* and an £8* handling fee. So keep that in mind when you flick the price into a currency converter and thing, damn that's cheep.

*on any item over... £15 INCLUDING the cost of postage - so with a £10 shipping cost you can only buy something worth £5 if I recall correctly? they keep changing things

Well, I pulled a trigger and bought that CM QFR with mx blues from USA.
Should be with me in 2 weeks.
That was all included, all additional fees etc so paid £92 in total.
I remember I paid £65 for it when it was available in UK years ago...
Anyway, I have 2 other covers for Rapid, so will paint one cream to have nice retro look:)

Now, back to Massdrop - there are those polls - does it mean if you vote they will pick the biggest voted kit and re-run it?
I'm trying to get that Penumbra SA kit...

Anyone ever come across one of these, KKmoon Professional, my daughter really likes it but I don't know if it would be any good.

It has Blue switches but doesn't specify a brand as far as I can see.

Cheers Asura but I'd already registered an interest through that page. It's more that it's been in development for a year or so and, having gone quiet, seems to be bubbling up again.

Guys, I'm looking for a cheap mech keyboard ANSI on mx switches (she want Rainbow keycaps on it:)), something my daughter could start with.
    WHat are my options?
I saw that MagicForce 68 keyboard, looks nice, but where can I buy it in UK?
    Any other cheap boards?
