Hate to say this but being white, male, middle class and middle aged-ish in the UK you're pretty much an ignored 'minority' nowadays that next to no-one gives a **** about, basically you're the default male

On a lighter note, dated an asian girl once and going to BA and Global on supply runs for her parent's Cantonese Restaurant on the weekend used to make me feel like a minority

Considering the religious establishment at that time weren't even considered human, his views were world-shattering. A full explanation of that would require a lot of baseline in history of Judaism as well as the Roman Empire and their subjugation thereof.

My comment was to the historicity of the depiction. I get tired of the white washing of history, and yes sometimes I have an axe to grind. It's just something that pops up.
