Hehe thanks everybody, hopefully things will go well with the filling and testing. Indeed the O-rings are made from scratch, they specifically fit into the channels with no extra room :)

Let's fill this beauty up eh?

After extensively fixing up seals with fittings and the pump, it all worked perfectly! I also received the last shipment of fittings too, albeit after I'd done the leak testing.

Jokes aside this is quite easily going to be the best Thermaltacky mod ever.

That might not be too bad, but I'd worry about how he would dress you.:worried:

I'm still calling 'render'. I'm pretty sure those dudes are a Skyrim mod.

Amazing stuff, that acrylic work and those purple screws...something amazing every build

Is that you with the esteemed Immersa hiding behind you over at Parvum Towers?

I MUST photograph & post my custom Parvum ITX - white on a white background isn't a good option :sigh:

That'd be me cowering behind the lens as Shaun, Justin and Steve check the material thicknesses :p

    Thanks!

    Welcome aboard!

    UPDATE!

Time to get some ACTUAL MODDING going eh?

Now for a normal build I really quite like the width of cases like the Core X31, but for something like this it's a little... much. The X31 is a biggish case already, don't really see the point in making it even bigger when the hardware is fairly modest.

So I decided to cut it in half down the middle and reduce the width by 80mm or so.

Taped off and prepped for cutting
    [IMG]

Yeah it's a bit smaller now
    [IMG]

Removed all the troublesome parts on the bottom panel
    [IMG]

New aluminium panel in, going to be finishing it tomorrow
    [IMG]

Test fit with the waterblock, gives an good idea of what the layout will be

I think its great that UK modders are embracing the integration ethos,we certainly have a style of our own now....and about time too.

Indeed, I also like how we all have our own takes on it too. You can tell apart a build designed by you, me, JR23 or Imersa etc.

Exactly, nothing cookie cutter about it and each with their own idea. The UK scene has been stale for a while, this is pure F5.

So glad I invested in my tools now...

I find it funny that most of these case mods are, "F your case. I do what I want." -as it should be.

Man I wish I had the space for even a tiny CNC router, would open so many doors

    Thanks Bill! :thumb:

Aye, anybody can simply build in a case and make it look pretty, where's the fun in that? Now this, this is much more exciting.

    UPDATE

I only realised how few pictures I took after I stopped... Shame really as it makes it look like I didn't do much haha. Was in the workshop for most of the day today, lots and lots of structural work going on atm. The motherboard waterblock is now firmly in place, along with the rear and roof panels.

The main structure is now very sturdy. You might have noticed that I'm keeping the side panel rails, they're going to serve a handy function later.

The roof rails were still too big, so I cut them down to size and attached them to the panel
    [IMG]

Whilst this might not look particularly different to the last image in the previous post, it really is. I've cut up a huge amount of the remaining case pieces, many of which are rather useful.
