    These were playing at a festival where I was a cameraman, and I have been listening to them since;

    "Comet Kid - Psycopath"

    "Tellef Raabe - Flying on the ground"

    Well. I've been enjoying myself to some absurd things;

    Germans are crazy, man. But the Irish aren't winning any sane awards;

    Apparently I've got a J-Pop thing going on at the moment, because try as I might, I cannot stop listening to Kyary Pamyu Pamyu

    I listened to about 30 seconds of each.

    Different strokes for different folks, I think.

    Been on a Japanese Music Binge myself recently.

    I've listened to the GazettE since I was about 14, and they've been constant every album. A Truly fantastic band who I can't say has ever had a 'bad' album. They're also incredibly nice people, they're very reserved despite being massive stars in Japan. They're extremely experimental and diverse too, using rap and hip-hop elements into some heavier songs and having both heavy, gritty tracks and more pop-rock tracks.

    Wagakki Band is a relatively new band - but they've become very popular in a small amount of time. Not BabyMetal popular mind you, but they're very popular within japan and outside too.They're kind of like Folk Rock, but Japanese - It's very unique and I've not seen any other Japanese band mashing it up like they do. It's more pop than rock, but they're a guilty pleasure I guess.

    Either Tidal or Spotify auto-suggested it on the basis of Babymetal. I listened to 30 seconds and was just about ready to move on, but another 30 seconds longer and I'm hooked.

    Definitely not my usual, but I've had the entire back catalogue playing all day and I can't turn it off. It's toddler appropriate as well, which means I don't even have to turn it off when she gets home.

    No such thing. Like what you like and screw what anyone thinks I say :thumb:

    Of others I've been listening to regularly in the last couple weeks: Childish Gambino, Jack U, Tyler the Creator, Tobacco, Royal Blood, Eagle Twin, Avenged Sevenfold, BabyMetal, Meshuggah and of course the various My Little Pony Soundtracks - Why stick to one genre?

    That last one may not have been one of my own choices, but god damn are they catchy

    As someone who listens to quite a lot of Japanese music, I really can't stand BabyMetal. I don't understand their popularity. I've seen Luna Sea, Dir En Grey, the GazettE and Asian Kung-Fu Generation all live - some of the very best Japanese rock has to offer and I still don't understand how BabyMetal got as big as they are. They're also more popular internationally than in their own country, which is strange.

    I think they caught a lot of people off guard. Technically their music is very good; the band behind Babymetal certainly know what they're doing. Then you contrast that music with three bright happy J-Pop starlet-types and it certainly does grab your attention.

    Can't say it's really my thing, but I understand the appeal.

    Well Goijia and Volbeat are opening for Alter Bridge, not that fused about them though.
    Have only been listening to Goija and Volbeat for about 3 months so it's great I get to see them together

    Sabaton are playing soon, just need to get tickets
