    A time machine, 1999 specifically

A mate and I decided to go for partly nostalgia, partly a laugh, but the more I think about it, I'm actually pretty stoked.

New delta sander so that I can get into corners and whatnot. Festool DTS 400 REQ-Plus, been wanting to pick one up for a while now. The dust extraction and abrasives for Festool kit are simply to die for. Was sanding down the front door the other day, must have taken only 25 minutes or so to do almost all of it to 320 grit using the RO125, but I couldn't get into the corners for the panelling. This should replace my trusty Bosch mouse sander nicely.

Ledger HW.1 hardware Bitcoin wallet. Since picking up some 'coin from TheMadDutchDude on the cheap, I've been having a play around with this and paper wallets. Fun times!

It's a nice machine, haven't really stretched its gaming legs yet. Could do with an SSD, but it does have an empty M.2 slot - an upgrade for next payday, maybe.

Oh I've still got that :thumb:. The Dell is our "stop spending so much time locked away upstairs gaming" laptop, and the Macbook is my "general use" laptop :).

I have the same machine, I swapped the drive out for an SSD (not M.2, waiting for them to become a tiny bit cheaper yet), it's taken a lot of abuse being my mobile work machine but the only thing I don't really like is how flexible the screen is but other than that I can't really fault it

Yeah, there's a crapload of flex in the screen between the hinges, best try to avoid putting any pressure there.

Lego... I can't get back into buying it or I'll have no money left (just sold an absolute truck load of the stuff)!

In the meantime, I bought a box of little men from Germany for £22 including shipping:

I know what you mean, I have a few LEGO bits on my list of wants at the moment but I really shouldn't.

However, the new Porsche GT3 RS model is soooooooo nice but £250....

Costco had the Porsche for £199.99, but when I went to look on their site, it was already out of stock. :waah:
Also, just missed Smyth's Toys having a 20% off sale last weekend. :wallbash:

Although, Costco DO have the Bucket Excavator for £149.99 right now...
