Will be looking myself but if anyone has any links to something around 500 quid with OS but not monitor or peripherals I would be grateful. This is a prebuilt PC I am looking for.

It is for a Facebook friends son who I have not actually met.

If it was me I would recomend a pre-built with a warranty.

OCUK doe some decent lower end systems that are easy to customize.

Sorry I should have made myself clearer I am looking for prebuilt. Will alter original thread.

Take a look at a system around a Skylake Pentium with say a 1050ti, @ 1080 would be a decent combo and come in around budget.

Something like this would be a decent little runner.

The machine that Noizdaemon spec'd is the one I originally looked at, would be a great machine for everything apart from really CPU heavy titles.

Needs a Windows 10 licence, not sure where the cheapest place is to get that legitimately.

Avoid the FX stuff its old hat and is being replaced by zen soon.

I would need one with an OS as I doubt they could install it and I am too far away to help.

Dell are currently doing 20% off the outlet store today.

Might be worth taking a look, will probably have to buy a gfx card and slot it in.

Look at the optiplex range as they are built for business and in my experience are pretty solid
