Quickest fix, off the top of my head, would be to tow it out of the garage into an area where the truck could lift it. Say bye-bye to the tyres, though...

More sensible fix: wheel dollies or wheeled jacks. Jack the car up, pop a dolly under each wheel, lower it back down, and carefully push it to where a truck can lift it and take it to the dealership.

    EDIT: Ninja'd by Kronos!

Along the right track guys, but unfortunately theirs quite a bumper grinding drop outside the garage if your not careful and also the alleyway is the old neglected cobble type which would probably instantly destroy these casters.

Possibly a dolly with bigger wheels?

You could use scaffold battens to take out some of the drop.

    Pull it out

Even better, less grippy than tarmac, just pull it out with a breakdown truck or landie etc.

    Edit;
Or jack it up, support it, find gear linkage from below, disconnect from shift lever, and operate until car is in neutral

Surely there are easier ways of making dent's coin then sawing one in half...

How about moulding the same side twice to cast your own? :dremel:

EDIT: Better idea! Pay someone else to do it!

Sawing only has to remove about 340mm3 of silver, filling would have to remove about 2250mm3 of silver, so sawing is quicker. Done now and only took about three hours and eight blades...

Original plan was to cast it, but I couldn't get a good enough resolution of the details for my fussy nature with gravity (clay) casting. In hindsight it's obvious really... but I had hoped.

If I had a linisher it would be quicker but alas...

Now I await coin number two, then to again.

Yup: buy this one on FleaBay for a fiver then scar one side with a chisel to get a more accurate post-Two-Face prop.

To be honest, I'm surprised you're having bother at all, either should munch through silver?

Forged sterling silver is harder than you'd think not like steel or anything mental like that, but in a similar range to cast iron, the saw blades I’m using are 0.2mm thick with teeth for only 80mm, so the stroke is kina short and I’m cutting to an accuracy of +-0.2mm...

And having read what I've just written I’m such a doofus!!! Should have annealed the damn coin first, would probably have cut ah hour off the working time!

I really wanted the Switch to be good, I really did. It sounds so utterly disappointing. This'll probably be Nintendo's last entry into home console market.

The concept isn't too bad imo, but the execution is lacking and the price is way too high.

Overall it falls short on both criteria needed for most things to be a success... 'be better' and/or 'be cheaper'...
