    Did you replace 2 Pascal-based Titan X's with 2 Ti's, then?

That's gotta be just about the most expensive sidegrade possible haha -Surely putting the 2 Titans on water would have given you a bigger performance gain for less than the price of one Ti (and bigger e-peen bragging rights, to boot!).

Another reviewer showing reference 1080 Ti throttling. You can increase the max temp to get higher boost clocks, and hear the fan hit overdrive at the same time.

Thermal information from 5:30 on the video, with recommendation to wait until April and get an AIO 1080 Ti just after that.

    Nice, I'll have a read. I'm running my 1080 ti at 3440 x 1440 and so far I'm impressed.

Good to know that someone else here other than just myself and AdRock are running that resolution :)

How does it impress you so far? Does this properly have the grunt to run that res?

Should be just about enough (provided you don't have one of the three 100hz monitors available).

An oc'd 980ti can handle a 3440x1440 60hz screen in properly designed games like Doom or Shadow Warrior 2 just fine at good settings, so an oc'd 1080ti should be enough to handle it even in poorly optimized games like Hitman, Dishonored 2 and such.

So far no complaints at all, it's certainly a lot better than my old 980 ti and that was no slouch. I been playing GR Wildlands, BF1 and The Division and they fly on this card.

What fps do you get in your resolution in The Division?

Hmmm, off the top of my head it was around 60 but I'd have to go back and double check for sure. It was certainly very smooth.

Cool, in 4K I'm getting 50-60fps with all settings on highest.

I've just fired it up to check. Indoors between 80-100 fps (to be expected as not much happening) and outdoors between 60-90 fps depending on if I'm standing still or running about and where I am. I've got G-Sync enabled and it all feels nice and smooth. That's with all settings cranked up.

The first rule of thirtyfourfortyfourteenforty club is we don't talk about thirtyfourfortyfourteenforty club.
The second rule of thirtyfourfortyfourteenforty club is adrock's name has no capitalisation.

That sounds promising. My/our screens are only 60Hz, but the idea of not having to faff about with any settings to make sure i don't dip below that is appealing. I'm currently on the 4GB 980 i bought with the monitor so i've had textures turned down in things.

So the question remains; to buy the FE then attach a G10/hybrid/whatever cooler, or to wait?
