I bought a Samsung 256 GB SSD to replace the overfilled 60 GB drive in my desktop, but I'm having trouble finding a drive cloning tool that will work. I downloaded the Samsung clone tool, which I used on my laptop and worked great, but for some reason it will not see the empty drive as being a Samsung SSD. This may be because it is a Lenovo replacement part and so maybe it identifies as Lenovo instead of Samsung. I looked at the description for Clonezilla, but it cannot run from the disk being copied, so i would have to boot into a live CD or USB drive to run it, which i would rather not do if I can avoid it. Is there a free online drive cloning tool out there that you guys can recommend?
