My guess this is a play from Spicer to finally get fired.

 

Apparently the White House Trump has now denied that he made that accusation and that Spicer was merely quoting the Fox news report, not endorsing it.

EDIT: Spicer and US national security adviser General McMaster have now officially apologised for the claims.

Anyone else think that whenever you see Spicer on the dais in front of reporters, his eyes seem to plead:

Please kill me.

How to run a country:

If in trouble make up a random story to distract the populace
If caught telling lies blame someone else
If people are still not happy issue a half assed apology
Rinse and repeat as necessary.

Imagine what damage they could do if they were competent.

 

It could be said 'they' are competent, Trump isn't but 'they' are, they know what they want and how to go about it as can be seen from the actual bills their proposing.

 

Given how closely reality has been mirroring The Onion, i wouldn't be surprised to see this as a headline next week...

Yep, he is so far down the rabbit hole that click bait headlines designed to mock him actually make him look better.

 

Well, FBI director James Comey has confirmed for the first time that the agency is investigating possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Moscow to influence the outcome of the presidential election.

He also said that the investigation into Trump-Moscow links began in late July 2016 and is still on going. More than one person associated with the Trump campaign is under investigation for their ties to the Russian government.

This has prompted California Democratic Representative Maxine Walters to tweet: "Get ready for impeachment".

Fun times ahead.

 

You know as well as anyone that investigation ≠ indictment ≠ conviction.

As much as I want to see Darth Cheeto go down in flames, and even if they turn up evidence of wrongdoing among his staff, the twisty-headed zealots Trump has surrounded himself with will gleefully fall on their swords before implicating him.

Stop dreaming.

 

I know, but as he last year has demonstrated: crazy **** can happen. So it's nice to dream.

 

Even if Derpnald is impeached, booted out of office and takes most of his staff with him... You'll still have a Republican President, Senate and House at the end of it all.

 

Yeah, but we'd have Lawful Evil Pence rather than Chaotic Evil Trump.
