    Ryzen 5 1600 - £190 from Ebuyer

    Gigabyte AX370-Gaming K5 - £149.99 from CCL

Mobo gets a £20 steam voucher too, so that little bundle strikes me as a good deal!

    Marketplace, here I come...

Cheers man! Bit of a pain in the arse to have to go through the rigmarole of taking everything apart, selling, posting, buying a new case and re-building etc, but I said I would go Ryzen originally and I know for those prices I could justify it (for 4x the threads!).

Now I just gotta find a sweet deal on an Aorus (I'm sure it should be "Auros"...) GPU and I have a full deck of Ryzen-themed black/orange bits!

AMD said that consumer-level Vega GPUs launch at the end of July. :thumb:

No, AMD said that they would be discussing Radeon RX Vega at SIGGRAPH in late July/early August - not that it would be launching. Scuttlebutt below decks suggests actual availability will be considerably later, with as few as 16,000 enthusiast-grade units available at launch and mainstream pushed through to 2018.

Can't attest to the accuracy of the latter claims, but can confirm that AMD has most definitely not stated a launch date.

And there I was feeling bad for buying a CPU and motherboard hah.

As for Vega, in all honesty August will be the earliest I'll be able to afford a high end GPU anyways, if the price/performance turns out not to be there, i'll settle for one of those swish looking Aorus RX580 XTR's to keep me going for a year or 2.

Replacement frame for my hexacopter, after the last one was trashed when it decided to crash itself last week...

413MHz Telemetry TX/RX set w/USB interface, so I can keep an eye on APM/Mavlink flight parameters while it's in the air.

Cheap transmitter mounting bracket, so I can connect the telemetry receiver to an Android tablet (USB OTG is damn handy).

ALL THE PROPS! (about 14 in total).

Couple of these storage boxes, 'cos they were on offer for ~£4 and you can never go wrong with more storage boxes.

And a teeny-weeny little toy RC car (again, on offer for about ~£4), with which I intend to drive the cats mental :D

Oh, those storage boxes are exactly what I'm looking for. Where did you get them, Byron?

Hobbyking. They've got 3 different versions in their "bargain basement" section; they're all in stock, and they're all stocked in the UK warehouse. Shipping is a tad pricey from Hobbyking - they only use ParcelFarce, as Royal Mail don't take kindly to LiIon/LiPo cells any more. It'll probably be about a fiver.

    14 compartments, with carry handle - £3.89
    18 compartments, clear lid - £2.33
    18 compartments, black lid - £2.33

About to embark on a pencil collecting craze having recently discovered Japanese pencils...

My two most recent purchases are a box of Tombow Mono 100 pencils in HB and a box of Mitsubishi 9800 pencils also in HB. I also bought a single Faber Castell 9000 HB pencil at Hobbycraft for £1.70, which is a mistake I shall not repeat in a hurry.
