bit-tech 2017 refresh feedback: General site and forum feedback

Iz nice! DAMN FAST and I'm calling from the other side of the planet.

1) Can't accept TNR font choice, personally, versus the rest of the site which is sans serif.
2) No dark theme for forum I don't want to wax on about old forum but dark themes are great.
3) "Use the Flash-based uploader to upload attachments" Flash in 2017? That'll be an issue.

Nothing for 36,000? Boo. I like trophies though. Needs to have more, where do we find a Trophy list?

EDIT 2: Note to all: Check your privacy settings. New ones are pretty 'open' imo. I've turned most of them off.

 

Forums look to be good and responsive, do you guys have any plans to add Tapatalk support in the future as that is a really handy way to view on the move from mobile devices. Certainly no rush as I'm sure you've had you're hands full this past week. I'll have a look from a PC later when I have more time.

Yep, that is how little space it currently utilizes on an ultrawide screen
The forum can utilize about half the screen easily by comparison.

Also I second the notion for a non white theme for the forum to be available.

Look, I overall don't mind it, and know you had to change the back office set up, but the old one was better and easier to use in every possible way.

 

The themes and avatars issues were brought up in testing - obviously with all the goings on these things haven't been addressed. Hopefully they will be now that other people are asking for them.

 

Times New Roman. Its close to the visual pain you suffer from Comic Sans.

But i'll give you mad props for having the Quote system being a direct drop rather than a separate page, vast improvement

Same as RedFlamaes, the main site is way too small. It's hard to read on a 1080p display but @ 3440 x 1440 I have to zoom in to 140% to make it legible.

 

Click the bit-tech wide vs bit-tech shallow themes make little to no difference?

 

Oooh you can pick fonts. How unusual. I wonder if that means I can edit other people's posts into rainbow posts?​

But joking aside, I'll second the general sentiment that the backend is a great improvement (other than the WTF flash) but that the theme leaves a lot to be desired in functionality (and not searing your eyeballs)
