Dame! where did bit-tech go? I feel like I'm on the wrong site now. Old saying if not broken don't fix it. :(

Is there a darker theme for the forum available, its a bit too bright for my liking and hurting my eyes!

Yes, as per reply above. Having switched to the Dark Theme, have found an added benefit to using it. Because B-T forum defaults to white, I can immediately see if I'm logged on or not, by what colour it is!
Good Stuff, thanks again Devs. :thumb:

Great, I'll give it a go.
The coloured tags are working well too, particularly with the Marketplace

Dark narrow theme is now done. Rebuild was quicker than expected. Yeah the prefixes really help. The rest of the prefixes for the site should be done by the end of today if everything goes to plan

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet (is there a running list of items?) but I can't find a way to comment directly on an article any more. Given that the content of an article isn't included in the forum post, it's a bit fiddly to refer to parts of the article while writing a comment, you need two tabs open for it.

Also, the first forum post referencing the article is published in the article:

Finally (because that's the first time I've tried), does the new forum not have a function to upload a picture directly to a post?

Yeah, you "upload a file" down the bottom right, then click "full image" PdH4WNF.png

I must be having a thick moment, I can't find any way to attach a photo that I haven't either added to my media on this site, or uploaded elsewhere like imgur.

hmm, I wonder if my permissions are different.

I just click "upload a file"

    ss1.jpg
Select the file I want from the pop up box

    ss2.jpg Then click "full Image"

    awwww sheet
EDIT: Ok it ends up I did this deliberately as an anti-spam measure but I've now got the spam filters near perfect imo so we'll be doing a slow rollout for the modding section and trusted members then it'll slowly works it's way to other places. Most likely photography first.

    That'll do it!

Might want to include the marketplace on there as well, as it's a protected forum anyway.

My 2 cents, I preferred having the news in one column and other articles in a separate column. Otherwise looks nice and useable to me.

Good work on the alternating post background shades and having the pinned threads a different colour. Both big improvements.

Glad someone noticed the sticky change. I've also just fixed the responsiveness of the mobile version of the forum on the narrow styles as it was stuck at the width we used on the website.
