The RCZ is a lovely looking car, what the Audi TT should have looked like.

 

I currently drive a 2010 Ford Fiesta Zetec S S1600 in white. (car on the left)

 

Couldn't agree more! Would have bought a new one in a couple of years time but they've discontinued them! Need to look elsewhere, not sure about the TT but I do like the look of the Mustang.

 

Yes completely agree. The RCZ feels more spacious too, slightly more cabin width than the TT which helps being a slightly larger bloke.

Updated the bus, now sat lower on Koni shocks an Eibach springs, new rear calipers as they both had snapped pad holder springs. Poly bushed lower most of the suspension parts on the front subframe now, should be getting a stainless cat back end of the month.
Been told the dump on my turbo is very very loud as well, may try an record it

 

Mercedes C coupe based on w203 facelift was the old workhorse, still goes well. But growing family needed a bigger car. So it's now my wife's shopping-car. I still drive it occasionally on my mostly motorway commute to keep the DPF clear. It'll get replaced by an EV in a few years.

Skoda Octavia 3 bought a few months ago. It has all the features I wanted: adaptive cruise (a must), automatic, big boot, hatch-back opening, not estate, good back seat space. Plan to drive this family car to the ground until we can rely on EVs for long road trips.

 

Have to say that I much prefer the look of the non-facelift Octy3 to the new look. The split headlights on the FL are nasty!

 

This beast for the day. I might not even give it back.

Just its 1000 mile service. It's not broken... yet.

 

Service after 1000 miles??! Sod that noise... Do they charge for that?

 

How many miles on the clock when you bought it? You'd have thought that they'd just have done the service before you bought it really, you've only had it five minutes!

 

A post run-in service is pretty common on performance cars, even fairly mass-market ones such as M's.

They don't charge for labour (well they do really, but it's in the generally included in the delivery charge of the car), just parts, a few filter/seal swaps.

300 on the clock when I bought it - they drove it back from Hethel (they were taking it to a show and couldn't arrange a transporter in time) and then to and from said show, hence the high delivery miles.

I did take it in to the office last week, which is a ~330 mile round trip. Other than that, mostly lots of driving for the sake of driving.
