What's next? Offer an access all areas membership to the Playboy mansion to convince people to buy Vega 64 Liquid Editions?

How (besides deep discounting it to a HW manufacturer so it can be given away for free) would Adobe trick people into getting used to software as a subscription?
Next step: Pre installed bloatware on £300 Laptops.

Seems to work just fine as a business model for that one anti virus software provider who has been notorious for it for years.

Cant think who that could possibly be. Imagine if this pre-installed antivirus actually made your device less secure... Just imagine.

Think I'll stick with GIMP & Inkscape, because I run linux, except when gaming...

    McAfee.
Commonly found on Dell, HP and Lenovo laptops among others.
The real goal of including it is of course to trick people into paying for this https://www.mcafee.com/consumer/en-gb/store/m0/index.html rather than using a cheaper or free alternative.

*shrug* can claim the subscription as a business expense... so the concept of paying a sub doesn't bother me...

that said... AMD seem to have a thing for bundling random crap with their products to bump up or justify higher prices right now...

This, those daft Vega game/voucher pack things... tbf GPU OEMs bundling games with cards in general...
