I seem to have lost my Logitech Anywhere MX mouse from 2002 during the flight back from China and need a replacement. I love the size and versatility of the mouse and how it works on any surface. The Logitech MX Anywhere 2S would be the obvious replacement but it is £80 right now.

Does anyone know of a site that I can add items and it will alert me if they gone on sale by monitoring all the main sites. Alternatively, does anyone know of any good alternatives?

Does Google Shopping not do that?

FWIW Amazon currently have the Anywhere 2S on at £66 and pence... which is about the cheapest I've seen it recently...

I've not noticed the option in google shopping, though I do use it to check the prices of some things. Does Logitech's anywhere line not have any competition?

If you can live without thumb buttons the Microsoft offerings may suffice...

How about its predecessor, the VX Revoluton? Just dug up and tested my old one (since replaced with a more compact bluetooth mouse), all seems to be in working order with a new battery.

Unfortunately I can't live without the thumb buttons.
It's a nice looking mouse, though it may feel a bit slow. I've found myself using the MX anywhere over my MX518 which now feels sluggish in comparison.

Then the Logitech is the best option for your needs by way of, iirc, being the only option.

Thanks, I will watch prices until it goes on sale or I grow impatient.

If it helps, I bought the MX Anywhere 2 in November for £49 from Amazon (not the 2S but I think the only difference is the KVM software for the 2S). If you're happy with dealing with Currys, they have it for £45
