I kept getting IO errors trying to install 2k so I went with XP. I am not done yet, I will revisit it at some point.. I need a driver for the XP rig and I would rather have it on the net to find the driver as it's a royal faff keep jumping from PC to PC with a sodding memory stick.

Is there anything that will work and connect to the internet for XP X86? I've tried but come up empty handed. I tried a fairly recent Firefox but it moaned about SSE2 or something then exited. The IE on there won't work on any websites.

I believe Opera 36 is still supported, and works on XP.

Firefox ESR, though the current version [v52] will be the last to support XP and vista.

    Netscape Navigator seems appropriate :)

Looks like there is Slimjet that is based on Chromium - never used it and don't know much about it but may be something to look at if you like your chrome extensions.

Don't like being that guy because of stigma but at this point... wouldn't it be easier to just put some linux distro on that?

Nah that's fine dude. It's a retro gaming system to run Direct X 3 games. So I think Linux would come a bit unstuck.

Any ideas where to get it?
