Total length is 10 inches. It's reassuringly thick too.

In summary, I have a thick, smelly 10" black rubber strap on. Or at least I did this morning, it's in the box with the rest of the collection now.

Dell XPS 13 with 7th-Gen Core i7-7560U (2C/4T with Iris Plus 640 graphics, the one with 32MB eDRAM nobody ever knows how to use), 16GB DDR3, 512GB SSD, 13.3" Full HD display, and Commie Ubuntu Linux 16.04 LTS. No longer will I have to suffer through macOS being macOS!

Now I just have to make sure I can book enough extra work to pay for the thing, 'cos despite finding a £100-off voucher it was still north of £1,400...

Stock image - I actually have no idea what colour the one I've ordered is, as it only shows it from the front while open and there was no box to tick to change it.

At £108 shipped for the 3GB/32GB Global version?

The wife needed one fairly quickly to replace her old phone.

I didn't know they did anything bar the standard (and fairly nice) anodised Silver.

Ordered these o-rings for my keyboard.
    2.5mm 40A
It's just at the limit of MX speed actuation and should make the keyboard nice and quiet.
After years of laptop keyboards, the clankclank was a bit much.

My B&D VPX1222 is getting a bit tired though it has served me well, but with a couple of new batteries going to cost over 50 quid it was time to look for something else. The Bosch PSB 1800 LI-2 was well reviewed so went for it.

Thinking about this for my 1080, can you keep the backplate on? that is a deal breaker for me

    Good question!

Short answer: yes you can (and the frontplate too). This was the very reason I went for the Morpheus because I believe that the Arctic Xtreme cooler would not have fit with the PCB cooling plates still in place.

Long answer: upon installation of the Morpheus, I found to my utter astonishment and frustration that Raijintek have changed the mounting system for the Morpheus in its new guise (the Morpheus II). Instead of a simple system of four spring screws, there is now a retention bracket similar to what you'd find on some CPU coolers and four much longer spring screws. Ugh. So as long as you can put something in place of the bracket, you'll be fine - I tried a few things, and eventually settled with deez nuts which sit perfectly inside the 980Ti's backplate.

Here's the backplate - it's a big, chunky beast with a thick rubber pad on the contact side.

And here's my solution - nuts that were about 4mm high, just perfect for the job.

Despite the (minor) hassle of circumventing the backplate problem I'd strongly recommend the cooler. Still bugs me that they changed it though... if it ain't broke, don't fix it people.
