Rejoin ? More like trying to have this uncontrollable thing heading towards the wall under control. Or does his slide on the grass look like trying to rejoin the track to anyone ?

You can see he literally tried every direction and the car had the mind of his own because of the puncture.

One will have to be Kvyatt, for some reason F1 only allows a team to fields 4 drivers in race during a season. I'd quite like them to give Palmer a go for one race, their options for drivers with Superlicenses are pretty limited.

Turns out the puncture was a result of a suspension failure so something broke an went into the tyre.

I know it'll never hapoen, nor is it likely he would perform all that well.

If there was ever any proof of Bottas' mediocrity needed, the season isn't even over and he already has the worst qualifying record against Lewis:

Palmer has done better than Kvyatt this year, yet Kvyatt still gets to drive.

Only because Red Bull need to save face and keep Junior programme drivers in it's teams, if they had a 2nd Gasly, he'd be driving next to... the first Gasly?

Unless it excludes all sessions where the cars where not equal, one of the drivers suffered from a mechanical issue or was impeded by traffic it proves nothing.

The delta time between him and Hamilton in Q3 is more telling and possibly a better way of measuring. Ecen comparisons between 1st and 2nd runs would prove useful.

By the sounds of it Hamilton is putting in close to perfect laps with only very very small errors which is impressive being on the edge for so long every time. Even with the balance of the car changing over a lap ie. Available grip, slightest change in tire temp from corner to corner, braking for every corner perfectly it seems Hamilton get this right each qualifying even when the car isn't there.

Part of Bottas problem is due to driving style and understanding how to get the car into that window. Hamilton adjusted to it quicker where as Bottas didn't. The car has arguably gotten worse in this regard compared to how it was at the start of the season. If Bottas is worth his salt, he will adjust his style accordingly. I would argue that understanding and getting this for race is where he should be focusing rather than the 1 lap of qualifying. Especially since he seems to struggle at the start of a GP

ISTR Hamilton struggling to get the car dialled in for quali for quite some time last year, despite having had a few years with the team.

Now Bottas is having similar issues in his first season, and suddenly he's not good enough, despite proving himself a race winner?

    I don't get it.

That is actually pretty good to be fair. Nice to see them being a little more light hearted.

Evidently the Enstone humour is coming with the engines.

I can't imagine what they're paying/giving Alonso these days to keep sticking there.

That was pretty funny indeed. I just hope they can provide the car and engine to at least challenge for podiums.
