Apple Reputable iPhone Parts

My iPhone 5S battery life has really taken a hit in recent months, having spoken to Apple it's now on 1400 cycles when most are replaced at 500!

Does anyone know where I might buy a decent replacement part?

Plenty on eBay, but I have absolutely no idea what is and is not legit?

iFixit are supposed to be good. I have only the experience of 1 battery but the iPhone 4 one I bought from them measured the same capacity as an Apple original +-1% plus the one I've linked to has the dismantling tools included.

 

iFixit. I've replaced an iPhone 5 battery and an iPhone 5S screen using their kits.

 

€25 for the iFixit kit if you are comfortable doing it yourself, if not, just pay the £80 for Apple to do it.

I have no fear RE: replacing myself, having done a number of devices of the years.

I just don't trust the £6 items on eBay enough

 

Get the iFixit kit then... i've learned to not trust anything off fleabay...
