    Oh, much coolness!

How's the book? Looks right up my street: I love me some Amiga chat.

Meandering, like A Company on the Edge, but fascinating nevertheless. Bit disappointing, though: it was originally going to take the reader from the end of A Company on the Edge through to the demise of Commodore proper; after hitting 800 pages, though, Bagnall decided to split it. The result is The Amiga Years only runs through to mid-1987 in around 500 pages, and there'll be another similarly-sized tome landing some time this year (allegedly - The Amiga Years was supposed to be released in 2012!) called The Final Years which finishes it off.

Backers ain't happy about that, nor that the book was available to buy on Amazon before they'd received their copies - and at a lower price...

I'm pretty chuffed, though: sure, I paid extra, but mine's signed, comes with a pair of business cards, a bookmark, and a cool (but sadly folded) poster with a schematic of the Fat Agnus on it. I'll almost certainly be picking up The Final Years, too, as and when it lands.

It has been decades since I used a wood chisel, glad to read someone is still using such tools for pleasure.

A Well MB01-08 in Green, it is going to get the HPA treatment in a month or 2 when the weather is better and will then use 12g C02 cartridges :D

Went to my local "tactical shop" didnt realise they did messenger bags, so decided to treat myself, to a new office bag.

5.11 tactical rush delivery lima, black on a cream background because I like making it hard to take photos of stuff

Because "MURICA!" it has a CCW pocket because MURICA! which I use for a shopping bag

Amazing how much I can carry and its perfectly comfortable

Behold all the crap, all this is actually in the bag in the first shot as well, do we need an EDC bag thread? IDK...

Not technically a purchase, but a presy from the Wife - a PRS Tremonti SE:

Actually purchased - a LED Lenser P7.2, since I needed a decent torch, and the LED Lenser stuff is readily available here.
