Seems to be mostly down to South Korea going bananas for XRP, look at that volume:

Essentially my interpretation is that the currently very uneven distribution of trading volume is causing the issues with price discrepancies.
(of course I may be way off).

Blimey, £3.08 a coin? Wonder how difficult it is to set up a Korean bank account...

You don't reckon it might have peaked for now? 170% in 24 hours is pretty heavy going - FunFair's up 85% and I'm worried a dip is imminent!

EDIT: And no sooner did I post that than FunFair went from +85% to +25%. Called it!

I'm in fairly big on REQ. Bought in at $0.44.

I like that its backed by Y Combinator (who in fairness back hundreds of different companies), is based in Silicon Valley so good access to potential partnerships/networks, and they have beaten their milestones so far.

The main concerns are, that the token is only partially connected to the actual blockchain, and that the team is newish, and they don't have a huge amount of quality commits on Github etc.

Does anybody have any experience of cashing out to GBP?,I bought some XRP in November when it was 0.16p and was thinking of cashing out my initial investment and holding the rest but can't seem to find much option of getting it back in to my bank account.

Yeah, just transfer it to BTC, send it to coinbase and cash out in Euros. You will have to setup a SEPA transfer which takes a short while, but is worth it if you want to cash out.

Convert it to Litecoin, not Bitcoin - you'll save a few quid in fees and it'll land more quickly. Otherwise, yes - and set up a Revolut account to receive the SEPA transfer to save even more in bank fees.

Check your bank for fees to receive a foreign wire transfer as well, it may be less than you think. My account is a £7 flat rate whether it's £1000 or £1m (though sadly I've never tested the latter out)

I'm on the fence of what to do with my XRP, anyone else cashing out?

On one hand there could well be a lot more to go in the long run, on the other hand that puts the valuation of Ripple Labs from ridiculous to preposterous.

I’m holding for a while. I know that if I sell now, it’ll just continue to go up. I have already made triple and then some on my original investment, but I am greedy and want to see where it ends up. :D

Mine's £10 plus 1.5% above interbank for the conversion from Euro to GBP - whereas with Revolut, which was free to join, it's free then 0% above Interbank up to £5,000 and 0.5% above interbank over - and then I can Faster Payments it to my proper account free of charge.

    Bitfinex.

TBH, im not going to pull out of XRP now, or even bother actively managing it.. if it drops to $2 I might cash out, but I still would have made 10x what I put in.
