Favourite game right now or of all time?

Because of all time is harder.

Right now, I'm replaying Mass Effect and enjoying that immensely.

GTA Vice City might top the charts, though. I think that was the pinnacle of GTA games, and I still hope for modern engine version for GTA VI if that ever happens. Honestly they could re-release the original story/setting/music on the GTA V engine and I'd be stoked.

    Zelda Ocarina of Time

    PC game, probably Witcher 3.

Football Manager 20xx is most hours played, though.

Honourable mention to FFVII, Mass Effect Series, and Divinity Original Sin.

I've a lot of favorites, but Shadow of the Colossus stands far above all others.
My devotion for that game, its music, its art approaches religious levels. Say something bad about SotC around me and I'll kick you in the throat tell you you're wrong.

    Be nice, he's new :winking:

Favourite game of all time? Hmm. Used to be the Mass Effect series, but I've played them to death. I suppose I ought to approach this from a 'which game would you be left on a desert island with' scenario?

Dammit. Let me get back to you.

    Half-Life 2
    Zelda: Link's Awakening

Most hours was definitely in Guild Wars 2 and Ultima Online (Pangaea shard).

I couldn't lol, hence the list :D At a very severe push though it would be Fallout 3, with all of the mods and DLC and 3rd party DLC quests.

The post came across as a spam-like marketing one to me, it's a very odd first post.
If he/she comes back as a genuine person then they'll get a genuine answer.

Spam or not...Can I reply with several?

    1. 3D Monster Maze on the ZX-81. Genuinely scary first person 3D, showed me the potential of games as a fun but emotional experience.

    2. Tomb Raider on the PS1. Lovely music, great gameplay, cutting edge visuals. So relaxing to play... when you weren't somersaulting around shooting enemies :)

    3. Half Life 2 on the PC. Very well put together game, still plays well to this day. Great gameplay, great story, great world building.

    4. Rec Room using HTC Vive. Playing laser tag in VR is a lot LOT of fun!

So many other great games I could mention. Games that I've sunk more time into than the above, but the four above are ones that I feel are markers of where there's been a shift in gameplay and they've changed the way I see gaming.

Elite on the BBC Model B.

I have many favourites, for different reasons, but the original Elite has to be the one purely because that is what truly got me hooked.
