    Long time ago.
I've had the rower for a couple of years, but I've been a lazy sod, an upgrade should give me a kick up the arse.

    Canon 24-105 f/4L IS Mk.II
    Tiffen filter
Two Amazonbasics tripods (for the lights!)

All for 67,000 INR, which is about $1060. All new/retail. I don't know how I got so lucky, but yeah.

Leave it to the English, they know hi-fi.

This turntable is amazing, analog over digital any day of the weak. This. Is. Eargasm.

Listening to some Dire Straits right now and then onto some Pink Floyd.

    Just WOW. :)

So I went and got a pair of these:

Managed to get a team of 4 organised for it, so should be a good laugh :)

Finally took the plunge, ahead of being able to pick up the Labo kits. Just one game to start with: Zelda Breath of the Wild. It'll be here between 1000 and 1200. Excite!

Once I'm bored of Zelda, I'm going to see about picking up Doom and/or Skyrim (I've already got Skyrim for the PS4, but like the idea of being able to play it in bed.)

Zelda and Mario are both amazing games. Don't rule out Mario!

Yeah, I'd forgotten about Mario Possesses Things with a Terrifying Magic Hat. That's on the list - but I'm hoping Zelda will keep me entertained until the prices come down a bit!

You'll be waiting at least another year. Until the Chinese break the cartel pricing or the Chinese roll out their own DRAM fabs to increase supply.

Will Samsung saying they're mass producing their 2nd gen DDR4 not have an impact? I was kind of hoping so. :(

It will probably all end up inside Samsung devices and have no bearing on the wider market.

I found some on Ebay the other day for £60. 8gb, like. More than enough for me. Should have pulled the trigger. I will wait until something similar comes up. It was only Crucial 2400 bare, but doesn't matter as Dianoga has a ram cooler :)

Samsung are now the biggest semi-con by revenue simply by virtue of inflated memory prices. They want to keep it that way as long as possible.
