Very nice - if I run my i7 930 at 4.4GHz with memory at 1600 C9 I get about the same at 11,800. The memory bandwidth in your score is the result of quad channel. I should be getting my benching memory tomorrow so here's hoping I can edge that bit closer to 13K.
I just had a glance at the bios on this msi board, the settings look like something from space shuttle launch sequence........i've not got a clue how to overclock this, gonna have to give the manual a good read tonight. lol!
Dude you just keep raising that bar. I think I can run with 206 or 207 bclk but that'll be my limit... let's hope it'll be enough. EDIT: 206 is a no-go, and now my system has decided that 205 is also a no go, despite me running it three times in succession yesterday. Looks to me like Geekbench 2.4 isn't quite as willing to co-operate as version 2.2.6, which is a mighty shame. Looks like I'm gonna have to concede defeat on this battlefront Spreadie! 12,600+ is freaking awesome.
Boards won't need updated for this one Pookey as I'm afraid this score will forever be offline - for some reason my system prefers an older version of Geekbench (2.2.6) and will only complete the test in diagnostic mode, which means I can't get my score online (but I can save it, which I did here). I CBA doing a fresh install of Windows for one benchmark, so I'm not going to go out of my way to get an online score. As long as I beat Spreadie, I'm happy. @ Spreadie, I got a run of 12603. There was absolutely nothing I could do in terms of frequency, so I tightened up tRFC from 110 to 100, and it gave me 21 extra points. BOOYAH! CPU @ 4530MHz, RAM @ 2060MHz 8-9-8-27-100-1T, Uncore @ 4120MHz Air cooled (88C max temp)
Great score, mate - I don't see why it shouldn't stand though, you've posted the appropriate screenshot. Ooh, interesting! I haven't played with tRFC yet...
A small but significant improvement... 12630 It wasn't due to tRFC though - it won't boot with anything lower than the default 72. She's right on the hairy edge now though. If I bump another voltage setting, she's gunna get up from under my desk and boot me in the nads. I'm getting a 10 point spread maximum over multiple runs - I think this really is the last gasp.
Seeing as I benched in Super Pi a few times and now know what settings are needed for 5ghz stable I will rebench with Geekbench shortly. I am unable to increase my memory clock speed what so ever.
I wondered if we had one. Anyway, I was pleased with my single core on my i7 3770, still plodding along. This is all stock BTW. W764 (with the spectre/meltdown patch) 16Gb 1600Mhz DDR3 Geekbench 4 Single core: 4089 Multi-core: 13666
