Windows 1 v 1 war game

Hi guys .it wont let me pick for windows , are there any war pc games that i can play a 1 on 1 online with a mate like the old moh games, one would pick a map and the other would join via ip address, thanks guys

Day of Defeat Source has the option to create a server, you can set the player numbers and lock down with a password if required. I know it’s been around for a while, but I still love playing it.

Not sure if you just want an FPS suggestion but check out Company of Heroes on Steam, great 2 player skirmishes to be had!

All of the Source engine games (Team Fortress 2, Day of Defeat, Counter Strike Global Offensive) will allow you to set up a 2 player server, or to run a normal sized server from your own PC with password protected access.

You can make private game on Insurgency too, but it requires console commands and is quite long winded to set up.
