Not too shabby, 16gb ram supported, though can't spot in ecs website if it will support msata disks and that heatsink is interesting.. ..

The pics show a 1/2 length and full mPCIE slot, and the specs say; "2 X Mini PCI Express X1 slot(s)". So, I'd say a Wifi card in the short one and mSATA in the other?
Looks like the H81 design saved space by stacking the mPCIE slots vertically rather than separate board locations.

So, I finally did it and bought the board. I've no idea what I'll actually use it for though!

H81 thin with Wi-Fi card. Now I need to get all the other bits...

And I want to mod my NCase M1 so I can get my gaming rig going again. I guess I'll be a busy boy

Aha, the £14 bundle has sucked you in - further down the SFF rabbit hole!
Good luck with the NCase surgery, that conversion kit looks amazing!

When you just know its going to be one of those days.....

I took today off my aims were:

    1) Measure up in the loft to move some of my equipment up there to please the wife and give me a little more room in my office.
    2) Get some grinding done in The Division as there is a global event on.

Now I have a couple of meetings that were going to be ball ache to rearrange so i said I would attend those.

So this morning, I get up and go to power up my main machine (this is my i5-6400t in the Dan case) and I get nothing, I think thats strange let me check if the power cable has worked loose, nope.

Next step, lets open her up, which i do, I see the cpu fan spin for a second and nope no power up. Start messing around with memory, again nope.

I am now currently rebuilding a spare rig which I had stripped down to sell.

My major observation is, while I love Mini-ITX, but my god troubleshooting or trying to work in on is a nightmare.

Spare rig up 2nd running graphics card was transplanted over and works fine.

Ruled out memory so it's either psu or board. I'm really hoping it's the psu. As the board is a h170 itx ddr3 mobo which is going to be a royal pain to find a replacement for!
