    I'm not sure i get gaming chairs. Best chair I've ever sat in was £60 from IKEA. I've done marathon gaming sessions in it during my youth and it is still going almost 10 years later. Probably not £60 these days though!

    Don't get gaming chairs either but I can see why they may appeal to some.

    My problem is chair armrests, can't seem to find any that go high enough to fully rest my arms on without slouching :(

    This is a perfectly understandable and justifiable handicap, which makes the chair's "Bit-Tech Recommended" status all the more impressive.

    I wish these gaming chairs didn't all have such silly names and garish colours.

    Where are the more subtle designs? Focused on what's actually important, like lumbar support and back rest height?

    - Actual back support
    - Subtle design
    - Non-garish colours
    - (less) Silly names

    Sounds like what you want is just a regular old office chair.

    The Vertagear Triigger chairs might be worth looking at, although they don't come cheap, and they do still have silly names!

    Mine was £50, plus another £50 on replacement armrests and castors. Even if you can't find a bargain like that, a good quality second-hand Aeron won't cost you more than £360 from a proper company or £245 on FleaBay - and given how much I love mine, I'd definitely say it's worth the money.

    Here's the big thing for me. Although they are medically ('suppose that's the right word) great are they actually comfortable? I tend to lounge at my desk to watch livestreams so getting comfortable for a long period is key.

    Super comfortable. Mine's got the lumbar support - the original design, not the clever new one - and I sit at it literally ten hours a day every day. I used to have all kinds of different office chairs - from big manager chairs to those weird kneeling ones for typists, which until the Aeron were my favourite - and this is the only time I've never had a single hint of back pain.
