A new benchmark thread with Unigine Superposition benchmark. https://benchmark.unigine.com/superposition So this is just for fun, so overclock as you will and bench away. Once we get a few results, I'll make a fancy table. So the rules are; Run Either/Both Presets 1080p Extreme or 4k Optimized Post a screenshot with your results along with your GPU Core and Memory clock speeds. So I'll go first for an example; GPU Core 2050MHz - Memory 6000MHz
Just got my new rig running. so with 7700k@4.8 and 16gb@3333, but 970 is back to stock, max boost 1379, mem 7000. Need to get back on the bios tuning! Or a new gpu
All 1080p extreme as it seems to give very accurate scores Fury X @ 1125mhz with 8 core Ivy @ 3.4 My old Titan XM 1458mhz and 4.5ghz 5820k. My 14/28 BE running turbo max on each core (as I explained elsewhere) and 2200mhz on the TXP (big pee)
It does like a core or ten. I was surprised that I managed to level every 1080Ti, because my CPU only clocks to around 2.9ghz or so. It's a good DX12 bench tbh and I love that they give a nod to Tesla and co as well.
4790k @ 4.6GHz 1080Ti 2050/6000 1080p extreme 4k Optimized with the same clock settings. (CPU has made no differences to the 4k results, even with an etc 200Mhz and HT.) Shame I forgot to run the 1080p preset with the 4670K. It does like more cores, but CPU clock speeds don't make hardly any differences in this test. That's why I never bothered to clock to 4.8GHz It sure is indeed.
Got my Sata to 4 pin molex adapter today so could power up the pci extender. power and temp to max, +100 on core to boost to 1479, +345 on mem for 3850 and added 250 to the score. Had a REAL lazy (so don't know what i'm doing on these chips) overclock on the cpu yesterday and had a couple of sketchy boots today so bumped back down to the auto XMP profile, 4.5mhz and ram at its rated 3400
1080p: 4k: Spec: 8700k @ 5.1ghz core, 4.6ghz cache, 16gb Ddr4 3600mhz 16-16-16-36, 1080Ti @ 2063mhz core, 60003mhz mem.
Core now at 1531, memory at 3953 I need to find a way to get some airflow to my backplate because it is getting toasty! Could always turn my fans up but then it'd be noisy
Not bad for a 8 or so year old platform. ill do another run with the GPU overclocked and the x5650 pushed to 4Ghz. x5650 @ 3.85Ghz GTX 1080 at stock for now. DDR3 @ 1400Mhz
Just run this and its completely borked my GTX 780 ... stupid thing said i didnt have enough memory and did i want to run it anyway ..... Yeah ok sure ... BAM!! BSOD and killed the card. Didnt realise a bit of software and destroy a card. Beware!
Sorry to hear this dude, but I have to agree with RedFlames, that your card must of been on it's last legs before cutting off. If your GPU was getting too hot, then it would throttle back, or worst case, shut your PC off completely.
I don't see the point of these things unless you have the absolute top end gear, just feels like pointless epeen if u can afford it.
