I've read elsewhere that Oculus will credit anyone who used their Rift since Feb 1st, $15 (or local equivalent) Oculus store credit.

That would be a nice good will gesture. Over on the Oculus forum, people seem to think when a company makes a silly mistake, that they're legally entitled to compensation...

The worrying thing and it doesn't just apply to Oculus (see Logitech Harmony Link and anything IoT) is how easy it is to make expensive equipment a piece of non-functioning junk with no effort.

Didn't Razer have this a while ago too... where basically you couldn't change your mouse's settings because razer's servers were down...

That's what the e-mail they sent me claims.

    I've not received an email...

Edit: I received an email from Oculus regarding a store credit. :)

It's not working for me, it says I need two windows hotfixes before it can continue but said fixes are already installed :(

I uninstalled Oculus completely minus the games, downloaded the setup again (4.98GB) and it runs perfect. No need to download the games, just a quick update sync them.
