Texas was his home state. His brother Jeb was Governer of Florida from 1999 to 2007.

Derp, i knew there was a family connection involved but clearly forgot what it was... I have corrected my post.

In any case I can see the EU doing more or less the same thing again, Republicans are twitchy enough about the upcoming mid-terms as it is...

    Put the tinfoil away.

I really don't think there is anyone in the UK parliament on any side that would be willing to sanction using a nerve agent in a British town to murder a couple of random foreigners for an unlikely political gain.

In Russia however things are different.

There is a lot of opposition to this from Republicans in the Senate and House:

Ben Sasse normally makes sense and he's pretty blunt here:

Hopefully for House Republicans, fear of losing their jobs in November helps them overcome their utter unwillingness to meaningfully challenge Trump on anything.

Just like they wouldn't collude with terrorist organisations to enact extra judicial executions on British soil, huh? Or what about supply those same terrorists with detonators...you know, for bombs? And don't forget that when our glorious leader was simply trying to make a name for herself as home secretary - not leading us through major constitutional change as PM - signed off on the illegal and indiscriminate spying on British citizens.

I'm not saying I absolutely believe that it was a false flag, merely that we should keep the possibility in mind as events progress - Cui bono?

Unilever doing a bunk to the Netherlands has been on the cards for a while though, not sure that one can be 100% attributed to brexit... brexit hasn't helped... but i don't think it's the cause.

The anglo-dutch company is electing to be less anglo, more dutch...
