Just finished watching the first series last night. We really enjoyed it. Generally I'm not a big fan of Sci-fi, as it's usually too cheesy for us, but this series kept us coming back after every episode. Really looking forward to season 2.
Nice cameo in the pilot:- Spoiler The Dr Smith whose ID gets stolen is Bill Mumy - the original Will Robinson!
I binged through it when it launched. It's good fun (though it was pointed out that focusing on the details too much might ruin it), and I am looking forward to more.
It's definitely worth watching. But the only spoiler I'll leak "The Robinson's really have the worst luck..."
Seen up-to episode 8 so far. Not really keen on Dr Smith - WAAAAAY over the top IMO - far too unbelievable . It's been OK so far.
Lol, don't get me wrong, I've just some how seen a lot of junk Sci-fi over the years. Red Dwarf is the exception. Well if you met the Crazy, but super intelligent Ex I had when living in the Midlands, Dr Smith isn't that far off her. The whole mind games, making people believe them, yet making you question your own sanity... When people are that desperate, they will do anything to fight for their survival, at any cost. So I guess Dr Smith will only really relate to those that have dealt with people like her.
Well, can't rightly argue with that But. You say anything against Battlestar Galactica and i'll kick you in the shins (Not the original, say what you like about that. Bidi bidi.)
I've never watched Battlestar Galactica. Probably as I was always working away or working nights back then. So I will have to have a look. Nothing is confirmed, so it's down to how popular this series ends up being. Though according to the link below, they mention that the original cast has no other productions, so guess they're keeping themselves ready for Season 2. http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/lost-i...eason-2-release-date-cast-plot-trailer-robot/ They can't leave a story left like that, surely not? - But if the Original 1960's series has anything to go by, then I'm sure there will be plenty more seasons, if Netflix can keep the no. up and keep people interested. So to answer your question - One can only hope.
That went straight over my head... My upbringing was watching "Land of the Giants" - I feel old now!!
