I like it. The price stings a fair bit, but I like it.

Thanks for the review. I've been thinking about a build with this case - it's cool, different, and, in some ways, practical. It's good to hear what some of the limitations might be.

One question I have is that, based on the dimensions, this is a 25 liter case which is not that small. Do those somehow include the depth of the legs or something like that? The descriptions of the cramped spaces make it sounds more like a 10 liter case.

Cool, I'd love to see some builds in it. The dimensions do indeed include the legs; remember CPU cooler height is limited to 48mm so that gives you a rough idea of the real height of the actual drawer.

this is one of the hardware reviews that drew lots of staff in to see it.

I find it utterly beautiful. In the steel, it's even nicer than in photo's.
I did accidentally ping the draw open.... Dogbert had to hide the drill, as I was all over it with thoughts of a grub screw to hold it in place ;-)

The volume includes the legs as they are nonremovable, but even if you cut them off the case itself is about 70mm thick (total volume a bit over 12L). It's not as compact as similar cases with the same component compatibility and layout (e.g. Zaber Sentry, 7L) because they have the PSU directly facing the rear of the case, rather than occupying the empty space in front of the motherboard and using an internal power cable to connect it to the rear.

Update 28/05/2018: Cryorig has been in touch to state that it is working on a USB 3.1 upgrade kit for the Taku, although exact details and a release date are still to be confirmed.
