Surprised the Brexit bunch don't cry about him being an 'unelected bureaucrat'....

Remember that thing the govt was hosting, to sell the benefits of EU membership to several eastern auropean countries...

...that's today, Boris is [was] meant to be at that meeting *checks watch*... now.

At this rate Trump will arrive to be greeted by Foreign Secretary Danny Dyer and Clive the tea boy.

And the opportunity to abolish rights once the EU can't protect us any more was too good for him to pass up:

There is of course more (as with any politician), but he puts the nasty in nasty party.

How on earth is she holding onto power, if any other PM had even half the resignations she's had they would've been kicked out ages ago, isn't it standing at something like 6 now Boris has gone.

I bet she regrets saying people wanted a strong and stable government.

Oh no they all want it... after brexit has turned into the ****ing disaster everyone knew it would...

...then they can be the hero [in their own minds] that fixes things, rather than being the one held responsible for breaking everything.

I'm guessing predictions that Brexit would lead to more countries leaving and the eventual collapse of the EU sound rather daft now what with ministers leaving and the chances of a government collapse looking more likely by the hour.

Actually the rest of the world seems pretty positive about the departure of Davis and Clown.

I'm seeing sentiments like "maybe UK politics will have a position on brexit now" and "maybe the UK government will stop acting like rebellious teenagers" or "maybe negotiations can start in earnest now" reported on a pretty wide scale.

'Brexistential' - favourite word of the day

Edit: Davis has never known what he's been doing in any job. As for BoJo, well he's been so busy in self promotion and his own ego he's been a liability at the FO so i'm sure there'll be a huge sigh of relief.

Well the optimism does appear to be conditional on the belief that most Tories wouldn't dare to vote against May in a vote of no confidence as brexit is too close.
So the resignations actually cemented her position rather than weakening it.

I know violence is never the answer, but I'd seriously consider taking a few teeth from Davis, Johnson, and Gove with some rusty pliers at this point.

Yay! Hunt is no long Health Secretary...

    ...boo, he's now foreign secretary.

...further boo, his replacement as health sec is probably as bad or worse.

It may not be the answer, but you've got to admit it feels right.
