you're not going to want to hear this tbh but i'd let it slide, pensioners don't do the heat well and 5am at the moment is currently the coolest part of the day.

Surely to goodness, there's not much left to cut. Everyone around here's grass is more brown and khaki than green.

Likewise, I went straight round to my mates, knocked on the door at bit dazed, his gf answered and I said "sorry to bother you this late but I've kinda been attacked with a knife" :)

Stayed there for a while, eventually rented a room there actually, and his gf was a nurse so that was handy.

Hope you're looking after youself dude.

    MIDDLE CLASS CRISIS!!!

Reminds me of when we moved to NZ and couldn't find a nutcracker anywhere. I mean anywhere.

Had to make do with a hamner and tea towel.

    The horror!

Not really life ruining, yet. Flying to the US tomorrow through Iceland. From what I've been reading, it's the worst airport north of having tarmac runways.

Can't say i've heard of any problems.

Iceland is awesome, one of my favourite places on the planet.

Edit: what on earth have you been reading, i am curious.

You say that but according to the guy next door it’s all year round, apparently he has floodlights during the winter.
I will get a picture if it’s true.

Sprinklers running everyday, he even waters and cuts the verge which is council owned.

Just search for reviews of the airport on skytrax or even Google.

Yup. Sounds like you have experience. This doesn't look promising for a 2h layover.
