I got a bit more time to play today Split my time up finishing off the side vents and making a Condom hoodie for the CPU cooler!

I havent been adding many action shots of late so here a big one excuse my superglued thumb ......






I made 6 of these 3 for each side.




They will be going right down in that little open spot...









I think they will also need to light up




With a touch of colour added ! The end result ... i'm hoping i will be able to get these to run sequential like my custom car blinkers.



then it's on for some hoodie action....

I actually bent this up a while back but never used it as the idea didn't really fit with the rest of the mod... i'm thinking with some tweaking i can get it to work....
Started off @ the bender.... getting this to bend clean and first bend needed a bit of luck



It fitted like a glove or ....a condom..










The idea is to try and dress it up a little... and hope that once the fans are running again some light will flow throw the trans plex.

I played around with a few designs and got it down to 3 ruff cuts...





And pretty much just went with the easiest one to make

Starts with a nice chunk of white plex






The condom gets a bit of extra work...




And the chunk is tested for size.







Then its of for a ruff cut and over to the router where the bulk of that sexy plex is cut off and chucked......

But there's still a lotta shape to them with inner and outer edges angle routed.






I may add a small angled opening but i like the clean look and hopefully the fans will add some disco when turned on.








everything looks better in pink!



But i think the amber look with the sequential effect is what im after

 

Getting a daily fix... feels like old BitTech.
Cube shaped and the size of a baby's head? Yeah, pretty lousy for a condom. Looks FAN tastic, but it def' needs the disco.

 

I agree Cheaps lets call it a Cpu Cooler Light Box

Thought i'd test the new cpu cooler light box and it really does go full disco! The side bits dont really work so i'll leave those off for now till i can decide on somthing that looks better.

The white really shows i have to do some thing with the GPU now....







But it's in "Full Disco" mode where the whole thing goes freakaziod








The Vids show the side vents in sequential running mode.... The modes are going to be endless...

Cheers m8 tyvm The shop is a mod in itself all the LED's are powered from 1 single 5amp brick ... it keeps the cost of having them on all day affordable... prolly cheaper than fluro's or normal lighting !

The brick does get a little warm to the touch so i have thought about adding a second and splitting top from bottom
