So... why didn't they rotate the mobo 90°, Silverstone style.

Right now you have a chuffing great roadblock for most of that bottom-to-top aiflow [the GPU]… or the ribbon cable if you mount it vertically.

 

Almost £200? You aint' Lian Li, so stop trying to act like it, Cooler Master.

 

Don’t see why LianLi gets a free pass here if I’m honest.

 

I picked up my Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic for well under 100 quid so no free pass needed, however I'm not going to batter Cooler Master on price point - no, I agree the design isn't perfect in terms of the motherboard orientation however I love the PSU placement and FINALLY, FINALLY we have some INNOVATION

Cooler Master claw back some Kudos for the innovation alone IMHO.

 

Putting the PSU upright at the front of the case is nothing new, Rajintek Metis etc have been there done that.

 

As have Cooltek and Jonsbo, none of the afore mentioned have stealthed the PSU in it's own caddy however - I'm not saying Cooler Master have produced the perfect case, they have however broken with the norm which is certainly a good thing IMO.

 

Innovation is a good thing when, it actually makes thing better...

 

Well it's safe to say it's not just a plain ol' black box eh

 

With the front-PSU layout, it's like a bloated Kimera Cerberus-X (and in terms of component flexibility only manages to mount some slightly larger fans).
