Been watching on good ole Amazon and the price dropped, so here's what I'll be building over Christmas:

 

A *very* pricey weekend:

Loake double monks because my god, COME ON. Plus the usual care kit plus shoe trees (not pictured)


A bunch of aviation tshirts because what I have is getting tatty






And what I believe is technically called a metric f**k-tonne of books because it was like being a kid in a candystore and I couldn't resist.


Tomorrow at Heathrow I will sign over a kidney at check-in, because I am definitely, one hundred bajillion per cent over my luggage allowance...

 

This weekend was expensive:
14 nights in various AirBnBs around the Australian east coast and Tasmania.
10 days of rental car in Australia.
2 x Kayaking tour in Byron Bay
2 x Bruny Island whole day tours.

At least things in terms of holiday planning are slowly falling into place...

I had a pair of Loake once. They are beautiful shoes. I ended up forgetting them in a house move

 

Some cardboard masquerading as a lunch-food wrap, a twelver of Guinness, and a risky buy of a new coilpack for the RS on next day delivery.

 

My power armor FO76 came today. I saw the outer carton and thought "What a waste of cardboard". Then I opened it up, and the box it's in is the same size almost. I guess I never really considered the logistics of how big the helmet would actually have to be, it's friggin enormous !

There goes my wardrobe space lol.

I just hope that the build quality holds up. The keyboard I had once (blues IIRC) was very solid and reliable, nothing like their meeces.

We shall see.

Glorious. I was going to get a white one, but it meant two weeks of beans on toast.

 

Turned up earlier, appears Hermes way of delivering involves lobbing it over your fence. Despite the box damage I'm impressed, lock mechanism is pointless you can cut it off being plastic but it'll do just what I need an wont rust. May get another depending on space.

 

That keyboard is glorious (and also obscenely expensive).

So here's my rifle in all its glory at the indoor range. I can't take it home so one of the club members is very kindly looking after it for me - it's thanks to him that I was able to take it out of the shop. The gun is perfect and shoots like a Moonraker laser. Very much looking forward to using it regularly over the next few months, after which time I'll be re-applying for a licence.

 

Impromptu flights to Belgium to meet another member of ZiiP just after christmas for a few days
