Could it have been a CTR? That would be a truly epic spot (though wrapping or respraying in blue seems a bit sacrilegious)

no I highly doubt it. Didn't sound like a turbo, too deep and throaty, no turbo whine. Also had central exit dual exhaust and the rear spoiler wasn't a whale tail. Can't have been a painted yellowbird.

Where in good glaven did they dig up that NPT/90 from? Of the three built one was cut up by some guys for LMP1 in the 90s, one's in the Nissan Heritage collection in Japan and that must surely be chassis number 2, but where's it been hiding? I love those Group C/IMSA cars, completely bonkers machines.

There were a handful of them kicking about, but that particular one got me right in the warm and fuzzies.

It's a bit nice, isn't it. For a mere £850k it could be yours...

Although eavesdropping on the chaps in the photo, I picked up on what sounded suspiciously like a deal in progress.

@Mister_Tad, did you get a picture of what looks like a green BMW 3.0CSL (Batmobile?), behind the Alpina 8 series?

Reading that it's chassis number 3 rebuilt after BMW V-12 LMP1 adventures, it's probably in better condition than new too, the joys of being filthy stinking rich!

Saw one of these over the weekend (obviously not my pic, was too busy driving). Not many of these GP versions around.

Not quite on the road but over the summer I got the chance to be in the paddock at Formula Vintage at Donington Park. Lots of amazing motors there, but these two were the highlight for me.

When you daily a DB5 Superleggera, but race car is life... Yes the DB5 had a tow bar

We had to pop back to a restaurant to pick something up, and there was a Stinger GT in the parking area.

Surprised how good it looks in person tbh.

Sweet looking car tbh, and I'd love to have a go in one. The market is burgeoning with these powerful "family" cars and I've got my eye on the Stinger for my midlife crisis. :D

I was kind of on the fence about the Stinger until I saw it - It looks much better in person than I expected it to. It's that nice blend of subtle and sporty accents IMO. I'd probably prefer it in black or something myself, but it doesn't look terrible in white.

They are very pretty cars, and the V6's got some pace to them, too!

I got another year until I can upgrade, but I think i've been swayed by the idea of an i30 N Performance now - a lot of warranty and performance for less than £25k with a couple of thousand miles on the clock!
