Yes. I have a 2 seat sofa bed and matching armchair that my ex paid £2500 for and a bedside cabinet that's OK. Got a microwave and oreck hoover. Erm, not much more really.

What I do have is a computer desk, chair, PC, xb1x and tons of games. Oh and two very large TVs. And a surround system with two amps.

What more could I need :D

No mate. Mine is a basket filter model with a top heated tank instead of a caraffe (sic prolly) as I could never find a caraffe that didn't pour coffee in two directions. Do note I've had it 10 years. It's in some pics I posted but I'm on my phone atm and imgur blows balls on mobile.

By literally not spending a single penny on anything that wasn't strictly necessary. My mother has been feeding me and refused to take anything so that helps also. I don't really do much as a ASD anyway dude and my eon bill was reduced to £30 a month because half the winter I've not lived there because it was too cold and damp. Having said that I did pay half my mother's bill as I felt obliged.

She says she's gonna buy me a washer. Not sure I want that but will see how much more I can save I mean I can't be without a washer or oven.

It's just showed me how much money I spend on taxis and etc. Last month I've pretty much just hunkered down at mum's as even going in my flat makes me feel sick to my stomach and have panic attacks. I hate it. I absolutely hate it it's made me ill.

It's in mint condition so I'm loathe to chuck it. Ugh, I guess I'll take it apart and look. Shouldn't take long and I'm out of other projects so sod it.

I should have a stainless Wahl James Martin one with caraffe in my mother's loft. I'll get up there soon and look. That was mint but the caraffe was crap. I did some reading and they were saying it's almost impossible to make a glass one that doesn't do that.

I miss my Mr Coffee :( I wish they sold them here.

There it is. You flip the top open, take out a basket holder and then remove a large tank. Then when the coffee is done you just put a cup under it and pull the lever. As I say it's in sterling condition, and got white vinegar a lot. Maybe that has junked the hose? IDK. The water down here is really hard. I shall take it apart when I get back home dude and see if it's fixable :)

Edit. As I say it's peeing water, not coffee. So it's somewhere in the boiling-basket area that it must be leaking. Thats why its on the glass chopping board.

Only 15 spondoolies each off ebay too! I was just looking round for what sizes of the enzotech type heatsinks I could get and eBay brought up a bunch of server cpu coolers. I couldn't not buy them once I'd seen them. :baby:

I put the very same in my PC last year. Regret the cost a bit but, not the speed.

I came to the conclusion that there's one notable minus point of all of the top contenders for NVME at the moment...

970 EVO/Plus has a fairly small write buffer before it drops you back to ~1GB/sec
WD Black/SN750 has elevated idle power consumption which is no good for laptop
AData SX8200 Pro doesn't quite have the established reputation for reliability and long term support
    970 Pro is expensive

The down sides of the first three stick with you for the life of the drive, the down side of the 970 Pro is a one-off. Purchase rationalisation a-go-go

What are you doing with your laptop that 1GB/s isn't sufficient?

Now that we have Farming Simulator as competitive esports title with 250k on the line I'll believe anything can become the next esports title. They even got RedEye to do commentary.

Going to start buying the light stuff now. Stuff I can stash with my mother, then take over when I'm ready.

Picked up a second used QNAP NAS box (TS 269L) to run backups from the TS 251+. Given the 251 is a capable media streamer, amongst other things, I probably don't need my servers any more. Both QNAPs take up less space than a single microserver. :)
