Posted this in the S00per S3kr1t Mod Forum before spotting this thread:

    upload_2019-2-27_11-35-26.png

Tried hard-refreshing (and disabling the ad blocker), no joy. Exact same thing happening in Chrome, too.

    EDIT:
The logo on the main site's fine, but the thumbnails are being cropped very awkwardly.

    upload_2019-2-27_11-38-23.png

Look at what you've done to poor Reggie!

    EDIT EDIT:
Also also (sorry!) the new mid-page highlights have even less of the headline visible than before:

    upload_2019-2-27_11-41-37.png
Three words is a bit short!

The main site looks a lot better if I zoom out from my default 90% (this is at 70%):

Screenshot_2019-02-27 The UK's leading source for Hardware and Games reviews bit-tech net.jpg

Reggie's head is back, and I get twice as many words in the SK Hynix headline! Everything's just a bit... diddy, now.

Ooh, 'nother question - sorry, @MLyons, I'll go for lunch and leave you in peace for a bit:

    upload_2019-2-27_11-53-46.png

Is the Related Articles section now limited to three articles max?

What resolution is your screen? it may be changed to show 6. We're still tweaking exactly how it looks.

Forums look good imo. The site was done as there were some issues and complaints which were valid and harmed readability. I don't think we've heard any major ones about the forums

My initial thought was blimey its all a bit large and in your face. But then I do tend towards zooming out when working in Word/Excel etc.

I tended to zoom in on the old design and this one feels about right.

I do see one minor problem with the forums, although it might just be my dodgy eyesight. I use the dark theme, because I find it easier on the eyes but, the purple text can be a bit hard to read.

Looks good on Firefox, even with Pi-Hole, Ghostery, AdBlock Plus and NoScript (with bit-tech.net whitelisted) - which is a surprise.

I run 1920x1200, but with two windows side-by-side for 960x1200 per window. Usually that means zooming to 90% to have websites look right, but the new design doesn't fit properly until 70% (which makes the text a bit tiny.)

Seems to be behaving in IE11. IE8 is being a bit laggy, think thats more that I'm using it through a citrix connection than anything else. I'm sure I can get Lotus notes 8.5 browser running if you want...

IE11 was a pain. If it works in IE8 then it's down to complete luck. IE should be killed with fire.

Yeah, I think we only have it because the bulk or our intranet was coded for IE8 then hotfudged to work in IE11, next up is the java time bomb when Oracle pull the plug finally.

Agree IE should be killed with fire then buried and the ground be killed with fire to be safe.

Looks good though scaling works flicking around my displays resizing etc in chrome Version 71.0.3578.80 and IE 11.847

I'd used CSS Grid for the first time after discovering and thinking "this is amazing" implemented it and last week loaded the new site in IE and was like "ahh. that may be a problem". So i implemented IE specific styling. I hope by next redesign IE is dead.

No glaring issues in MS Edge or Firefox Stable...
