Yeah I like Costa. At least they offer a shot of hazelnut.

Caffeine is great for depression yet awful for anxiety. Six months of the year I can't even drink it, so I make up for it when I can :) stopped drinking it after 3pm too, as my anxiety meds wear off around 7 and I can't take them after that as they give me sleep terrors and it's no fun waking up screaming.

One thing I miss from NZ, you could get a decent flat white even from a petrol station.

Eggs Benedict also seemed to be something you could order everywhere in NZ, at least everywhere I went anyway.
Back on the coffee, my other half wasn't impressed with any cappuccino she had.

As I still haven't found my Leatherman, a little something to tide me over:

    upload_2019-3-13_9-14-8.png

Victorinox Explorer. No pliers, but it does have a rather neat (plastic) magnifying glass!

Too much cow lactate for me, this isn't bad

Generally I end up with starbucks as their reward card means I can get free non dairy milk. Plus its easier to get to than Costa.

£10.99 for a copy of VR game Space Pirate Trainer to use up my £11 Oculus store credit, which would've expired today.

EDIT: Also a Corsair Dark Core RGB SE rodent, for collection after work tomorrow.

I just keep buying book after book after book. Guess I'll never stop and actually have to build a bloody barn by the time I'll be 50 just to store them.

That would actually make me insanely happy and proud. Now I have a new goal in life. Thank you, wandering mind.

One day i want a house with a library and one of those wheelie ladders to run around the room.

Not that i'd read them all, just because.

I actually read most of the books. Not the first/first signed editions, obviously. But I'd guess that out of all the books I've bought for reading I've finished 98% by now. And we already have one room in our flat that we call our library, all full of Billy bookshelves.

I can picture the library already: custom wooden shelves floor to ceiling, one wheelie ladder per side with said shelves (thanks for the reminder @adidan), two nice comfy chairs, no open fire place (though I'd LOVE that, it's just too dangerous), warm light coming from brass lamps, a little table with the essential whiske(y)s and rums to really enjoy books all day long.

    *sigh* <3 books

A few used pieces of used hardware for my allegedly cheap case mod

Corsair H80 (wanted to test clearances and viability of use)
    8GB G. Skill DDR3
    AMD FX-6300
    Asus M5A97
    [IMG]

Not the newest by any means, but certainly weird to me so I'm excited to get at it.

Only 30 odd quid on fleabay, albeit without the belt holster, but as it's going to be the 'honey I thought I heard a noise' / power-cut torch and it'll be living by the bed it'll be bob on.

Before I decided to go nuclear and replace my slightly dull Victorinox knives I've had since '09 I decided to at least try this first.

I can really recommend the Fiskars knife sharpener.

This one, the one you can also use for small-ish axes:

    NOT this one, though:

No idea if it's purely coincidental, but I have an IKEA knife sharpener that is absolutely identical to this one.

I've got that, and I use it on my cheaper kitchen knives (and my axe), but I wouldn't use it on anything I cared about.

I use this when I need to put a bit of an edge back on something more precious:

    Lansky Blade Medic
    - does the job fairly nicely.

If I want to take a bit more time on a truly precious knife, or to re-profile a blade, I've got this:

    Knock-off of a super-expensive knife-sharpening set
. That ones actually better than mine, it's got a sucky clamp thing at the bottom, but other than that it's the same. Once it's had a good go on that, it gets a wipe over:

    Gatco Triseps Ceramic
. Between the two, your knives'll be shaving-sharp before you know it.
