Last night the printer (only one, really?) broke so they couldn't print out enough of Cooper's bill.

    Today it's a water leak.

Tomorrow? Dog ate our agreement, can we have an extension please Miss EU?

Meanwhile HoL is voting basically non stop in closure motions in order to stop filibuster attempts from various Lords to stop Copper bill...
Ironically this could in theory go on forever, turning by itself into a filibuster:wallbash:

Also Leadsom announced nothing of importance to happen in next few days in HoC (so no Indicative Votes Sequel / MV4 any time soon) with the excuse being the ongoing negotiations between May and Corbyn, not like the clock is ticking or anything.

Of course, all the sewage is safely contained on the benches themselves.

Letter being penned to the EU to ask for an extension. No idea how long for or what purpose they'll give.

I'm sure that'll get the no deal Wrexiters chuntering.

It's like she hasn't read the news that all the EU representatives have said 'no' to any further extensions that don't see the UK being involved with the elections.

I'm impressed, almost, at how blinkered and belligerent she can be.

From the vote being announced to it happening you had thirteen months, you've had almost three years since and you haven't bothered to read up on something you could get the major points of in a couple of hours or a deeper understanding of in a couple of weeks.

Not painting a very good picture of yourself there.

Given Bercow was rained off... how about former Commons speaker and now Baroness, Betty Boothroyd -

It's funny how Maybot had enough balls to go to the other side and try to get a compromise...

    Desperation more than Inspiration.

Balls would be telling Rees-Mogg and similar to sit the **** down and shut the **** up.

And it ain't just the EU who might throw a spanner in her wheels:
The Cooper bill got stuck in the House of Lords and is unlikely to come back until Monday, so there is actually significant legislation regarding the process of asking for an extension still up in the air.

Isn't the Cooper bill something more to do with parliament taking control of the process of asking for extensions, I've only overheard people talking about it on the TV so could well be wrong, but i thought it was so parliament can force the PM to ask for a specific date that's no later than X.

A sort of stop her asking and accepting whatever she wants and perhaps more importantly forcing her to refuse an extension if it's shorter than the date requested.

So Cooper's bill stuck in the HoL and a water leak.

May has asked for an extension till the end if June (why exactly TM?) so Cooper's bill that would have given Parliament the say in the length of the extension has been usurped.

    It stinks.

    Wetherspoon's axing 16 pubs.

Doubt it's anything to do with Brexit but if it is it's no doubt because of remainers casting doubt on unicorns.

    Edit:

So, JRM, you mean just remain in the EU and do what we usually do?

No, he means do all the things we [allegedly] had no power to do, which is why we needed to leave.
