    * Cecks date. April the.... oh....the 5th. *

    Proof meet the pudding.

    I guess, to be fair, it's only been out nearly 4 years. Better late than never.

    Did I read that right? They are turning the old update controls back on? :clap: I pray to God they fix that bit that does the update restart with no warning and no prompt to save your work. I gave up on their settings click boxes. Some little MS gremlin sneaks in and changes them back every update.

    -NOW, Let's talk about all those 'features' running in the background that I will NEVER use. When do we get an option to remove xbox and onedrive? My computer isn't a 65lb phone, and I'd like to start trimming the fat before 'feature' bloat makes it 'obsolete'.

    Sorry guys. It was time for my seasonal rant. I feel much better now.

    Install CCleaner (free) then navigate to Tools, Uninstall and all of the things that the control panel grey out are available to uninstall.

    Most of the 'inbox' [preinstalled] stuff is removable now. [buy 'now' i mean if it wasn't introduced in v1809, it will be in the upcoming release].

    the Xbox app and Onedrive are both uninstallable for me [running the insider previews].

    OneDrive is already uninstallable, not the Xbox app I don't think however.

    In that case it should be in the upcoming update. Insider builds kinda screw with you knowledge of what updates have what features a bit.

    Maps, Photos and the 'Your Phone' apps are the main ones that can't be removed [as of insider build 18362.30 at least]... Groove, Skype, Xbox, Mail/Contacts/Calendar all can be.

    The 'Game Bar' stuff can't be removed but it can be turned off.
