    Meanwhile...

Serbia advises citizens to avoid travelling to UK due to ‘major political chaos’

    and

Travel advisory for Canadians in Britain warns of ’acts of violence’ linked to Brexit

Yup: the UK is now on some nations' "do not travel" list. Let that sink in for a moment.

And by admitting that we do have such powers he's also admitting people were sold a lie, that doesn't sound very democratic to me, maybe we should ask people again now they're better informed. :)

I mean his tweet was a bit confusing, he did allude to the fact that we have an element of 'control'. How preposterous.

Yeah, well, I have to say they're both being a bit on the silly side there.

    Pretty much...
But she has gone and asked for the extension before the bill passed / failed in HoL (and she knew damn well of the bills existence), so she essentially went and asked for whatever flavour of extension she wants before knowing what UK law will be relating to her having to consult MPs about said extension.

The leak has been fixed in Westminster, so MPs are once again contained in Westmister and the UK is safe:hehe:

Amusingly Farage said something similar. I assume he hates the EU so much because all the signs are in foreign and he always gets lost on the way to work.

He hates the EU, until/unless they pay him.

What?!? We'll be giving in to German demands?! OUTRAGEOUS. We'll vote for full EU integration, that'll show the Germans who's boss!

I get the impression some Brits see the EU as one big entity rather than it being 27 other nations who are just as much, if not moreso, partiotic and proud of their individual nations.

I can't decide if this is worrying of funny, apparently what leave voters want to happen after we leave is to bring back the death penalty (53%), dark blue passports (%52), selling goods in pounds and ounces (48%), corporal punishment in schools (42%), and traditional incandescent bulbs (30%).

Bless. They still haven't realised that just because they got to vote in Cameron's disasterous referendum, that doesn't mean their opinions suddenly count. I doubt that the electorate will ever be asked anything of relevance ever again.

Yeah because all of those things being around helped create well rounded and wise individuals.

Corporal punishment, aye, but only for halfwitted angry feckwits.

Not sure why everybody thinks their opinion counts, nor why they should all be equal.

I have an opinion on brain surgery but you shouldn't let me anywhere near your scalp with a sharp blade.

Oh and another thing, many should understand that opinions do not carry the same weight as facts.

Unfortunately, in this day and age, people don't often understand that there's a difference between opinions and facts.

...Probably the same people that want the death penalty brought back. IMO.

Well, under pre-European Union law there's a fairly solid argument for hanging Arron Banks for treachery (but not treason, because he didn't try to overthrow the government, only subvert it for the benefit of a foreign power). I mean, that was technically in our law until 1997, even if the last time it was enforced was 1946.

    Caveat:
The Hangman would get life in prison for making the poor rope touch that neck.
