We have 6 months to get this all sorted and we've been asked not to waste this time, so what do MPs do?
Why they decide to spend 3 months away from parliament, of course.

You can't honestly have expected anything else, surely.

Self important, self invested, arseholes. Every single one.

I genuinely don't believe that a single MP currently sitting has acted purely out of the interest of the country.

They can't do anything until the cross party talks are over.

Whatever is agreed there (if anything) is put in the PD part of the WA
So they then have to turn up on one day for MV4

If MV4 passes they can go home afterwards due to the whole Henry VIII powers ministers are going to use to pass legislation
If MV4 fails, then we don't really need the MPs either as there is no chance they'll agree on any Plan B either way

Of course they could take the opportunity to do their bloody jobs in regards to non Brexshit things but hey... lets stay realistic here.

Isn't it about more than just the PD though? I thought they had a vote on just the WA and even that got voted down so it seems they (parliament) still wouldn't pass the WA no matter what changes are made to the PD.

Farage launching his Brexshit Party today. He'll be happy, EU elections means more paydays for him.

Well done ledbydonkeys. Again. You thought Nige would have learned by now, or am I being too generous?

Talking of that new party, I see JRM's sister has joined. Says a lot really.

The only way they could change the WA itself now would be to go on their knees to the EU and say: "We've abandoned our red lines, can we have a do over of the negotiations please".
And since they won't do that the only wiggle room is in the PD (or going down the 2nd ref / GE route).

Essentially parliament and government have backed themselves so far into a corner they can't find the room any more.

BTW: Farage is launching his Brexit Party from Coventry, the same city which launched 2 Tone and ska band The Specials and rock band The Enemy.

I mean, WTF happened to this country man?!?

He should be tried for treason just for that. I will not let him ruin my memories of The Specials.

It's cool. The Specials are still playing; still good.

But yeah, let's try him for treason anyway.

IPSO upheld a complaint against BoJo, the Telegraph supports his comments based on the fact that not reasonable person would take them seriously.

I feel like a newspaper publishing things they know to be ********, and then dismissing complaints with that 'no reasonable person..' line should have some heavy, heavy, fines and be forced to publish a front page retraction of it.

I've never read a more accurate description of the Telegraph in its entirety.
