Is there a point to trying? Ferrari have more than a 90 point deficit after just five races, so trying to rescue anything this season would probably just be a wasted effort that diverts resources from development for next year.
5 consecutive 1-2's... 5 more races and even Mercedes won't have to bother trying anymore - maybe all the teams will just decide to call it at the halfway point and count it as "cost cutting measure".
Maybe next race they should have the Mercedes cars tow the Williams cars around the track it might stop them running away at the front, and the Williams team might be able to score a point, at the very least they might be able to reminisce about having a fast car
I missed the live running an didnt bother to watch the re run after hearing the result. watched the ePrix instead which was was more interesting JEV, Rowland, Massa and Wehrlein all very close racing at the front. Monaco Marshall's as always doing a stunning job two accidents cleared up very quickly so no safety car just yellow flags.
There will be horse's heads left in the beds of the Ferrari team bosses soon, if performance doesn't improve.
Likely running out after the last "batch" of Lasagne. Just wait in a few months another horse meat scandal will appear and we will see more changes at Ferrari. Funny how they two seem linked
